With the AR-1 being new to Byerly's line this year I was a little sceptical on how this board would perform.  But after the first 2 minutes of riding on it, I was quickly sold!  Fast board with the perfect amount of bite on the water.  Take nice and smooth pregressive edges towards the wake and let the board take over from there.  Super snappy off the wake, releases beautifully, and lands like a dream which is great news for knees. The AR-1 utilizes Byerlys first Continuous rocker line to generate maximum speed into the wake with no loss of pop .The new profile allows the board to have a very responsive feel and hold a strong edge into the wake. Mr. Rathy and Butch have been working on this shape for three seasons and now it is ready to rip. Give this board 2 years and it will become one of Byerly's top selling boards in their line. Mark my words!
