The Debut is stable and holds speed which are excellent features for learning how to let go of the rope. They make an excellent back up board for a friend when you move up to a foam board. And they are multi-purpose! Get home, remove the fins and ride a flooded yard, or storm channel, or golf course in the rain. During hot summer days lay down a plastic sheet, add some water and you’re an inland skimmer. Yes, you can use them as skimboards as well!
