Salve e benvenuti to the Dark Core story. From the foot hills of Northern Italy lived Alessio, a craftsman of gondolas infamous for a troubled past until one day as folk lore would have it, stumbling thru the streets he passed upon a good friend of the family. This Pisano gave him a secret sauce not to just make a stronger craft, but a lighter one. As years went on he was known thru the area for alluring tourists with his new found smoother voyage, with a lighter overall glide. Pasts came back to haunt him and one day Alessio's undisclosed ingredients were stolen from a group of competing oarsmen. They never could figure out how to distill the properties of the foam's three month baking cycle and eventually threw away prints of the concoction. Decades later the recipe for the magical foam blank resurfaced in the hands of our engineers. In honor of Alessio's past of scuro we present his lost treasure, now stowed in our Dark core.
